Corinne Joy Brown grew up in Colorado and has loved and owned horses all her life. A former art teacher, she writes award-winning adult and middle-grade fiction and non-fiction about the American West. She also freelances for various magazines catering to art and design, the Western lifestyle, and horse culture. For the last few years, she has focused on a middle-grade series inspired by America’s mustangs as well as art activity workbooks for children illustrated by children in a local pony club. Combining a love of art, horses, and art history has been a dream come true.
