Diane R. Jones: Author of award-winning non-fiction middle reader illustrated books

Writing served as an outlet for Jones since she was a child. Like many, she has a bucket list. Publishing a book was on her list for a while. The “universe” thought she needed a nudge—so, enter Rudy. 

After working together for a couple of years, something clicked in Jones. A story started flowing through her, begging to be shared. Jones’ goals for writing the Rudy The Rudster book series were to have kids fall in love with Rudy, make him relatable by sharing his emotions, and educate children about horses. Jones is a nature and animal lover. She lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
