Leslie McDonald grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and attended DePaul University. She is the author of 6 books, including: Down the Aisle, Musings of a Horse Farm Corgi, Journeys with Horses, Making Magic, Tic-Tac, and the recently released juvenile, Horse on the Loose. A Grand Prix-level dressage trainer with over 50 professional years in the industry she lives on a horse farm in southern Ohio where she happily teaches lessons, trains horses, and writes books about the special people and animals who have blessed her life.
